Curtain Down for【HKartsFestival@TaiKwun】on 16 October 2020.
This year’s HKartsFestival@TaiKwun went online. The online programme featured the artists’ adaptations of immersive theatre, environmental dance, performance installation, creative workshops and alternative walking tours originally developed for the on-site event in February for online presentation on 10–11 October. Additionally, with the reopening of performance venues in October, live performances of Fragile : work-in-progress and Sound Bath were held directly at Tai Kwun concurrently on the same days when the online programmes were premiered on the “HKAF at Tai Kwun” Facebook page. Due to popular demand, the online programmes were replayed on 12–16 October.
We would like to thank all the participants in our online workshops and in the rehearsals of Fragile, as well as the very supportive audience who attended our programme online and on site.
We hope the pandemic will subside very soon, and we’ll see you again at HKartsFestival@TaiKwun next year.
